Rationale  

Tuti Kindergarten is a welcoming environment where children take their first ‘steps’ away from the safety and familiarity of family into a larger community.  

During this stage of development, children’s brains and bodies are primed for learning through engaging and fun experiential activities. It is also a time when they can easily ‘absorb’ language in a bilingual environment.

At this age, children develop a foundation of social-emotional skills and communication abilities which reinforce a sense of safety and stability, essential for academic learning. 

Building physical strength and coordination through games and activities reinforces brain-body circuits, promoting better health and academic learning. Playing sports also helps reduce stress and build confidence, self-esteem, and teamwork. 

Because each child matures at his or her own pace, teachers support the individual rhythm in the context of the whole class. We know that  children reach developmental goals over a broader range of time. For this reason, academic content is presented in accordance with the Bulgarian Ministry of Education’s guidelines. This is achieved through a structured programme in a caring environment which does not pressure children into achieving skills beyond their developmental abilities. 

Our programme establishes linguistic foundations in Bulgarian and English for more opportunities as they continue their schooling and beyond.
