TUTI’s Teaching Staff

We are not just a team, we are a family! 😊
Our qualified team specialises in the following fields: Preschool pedagogy, preschool and primary pedagogy with language, English philology, Bulgarian philology, pedagogy of mass and artistic communication, psychology, applied linguistics, sculpture, physical education, a medical service and professional cooking.

Every year, all our team members undergo training in First Aid training and take part in professional development courses.

We support our teachers in the development of their professional and personal skills through in-house and external training.

All our staff are employed on either a full-time or part-time basis. In this way your child will have the continuity of the same teachers throughout the year.  If a teacher is unwell or unable to come to work, a member of our own team will cover their classes.

  • Stefan Matchkov

    FOUNDER

    25 years ago Stefan Matchkov’s mother, Snejinka, started one of the first private kindergartens in Sofia.
    She named the kindergarten with her son’s nickname - Tuti, who together with a new team, continued to develop a positive, alternate environment.

  • Teodora Zlatareva

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Teodora has been a solid cornerstone at Tuti Kindergarten for many years. As Director, she is responsible for the administrative duties at the kindergarten.
    In addition, her experience as a teacher, able to implement a successful curriculum, also gives her the knowledge and wisdom to guide all aspects of the program and keep Tuti running smoothly.

  • Laura Giosh-Markov

    ASSISTANT HEAD

    Laura Giosh-Markov has many years of experience working with international and local families as a school counselor, parent consultant, workshop leader and music therapist. She has also taught Music, Drama, French, and English to children and adults.
    Her work with teachers includes training for increased social-emotional development in the classroom.
